The envelope of the limited-edition N°5 Eau de Parfum is decorated with a classic perfume bottle, made by Maître d'Art using the time-honored relief technique.
Element
N°5 Eau de Parfum is inspired by Parfum's legendary formula and has the same acetaldehyde floral qualities.
This floral fragrance is composed of May rose and jasmine. The top notes are bright citrus, acetaldehyde gives the fragrance a completely different presence, and a touch of silky vanilla leaves an incomparable sensual aftertaste.
inspiration
In 1921, Ms. Chanel invited perfumer Ernest Beaux to create a bottle of "feminine perfume with a feminine fragrance", which was unique and full of power. The perfumer showed her a forward-thinking perfume recipe that had never been mixed with acetaldehyde. Ms. Chanel selected No. 5 among many perfume samples and decided to name the perfume "N°5". She chose a landmark bottle design for this new fragrance, with a white label and a faceted gem cap.
Jacques Polge, who has been CHANEL's chief perfumer since 1978, reinterpreted the previous perfumer's creation in 1986, bringing a richer and more rounded N°5 version: Eau de Parfum.

Perfume can also wrap around your neck like a string of pearls: spray on the left side, then on the right, and finally on the nape beneath your hair.
